About Me

I am a highly experienced teacher, parent and resident in St Albans. I am an active, enthusiastic and patient person. I enjoy working with young people, especially to develop their approach to learning, academic understanding and curiosity. I am passionate about Science and enjoy developing engaging content that encourages students to raise questions and deepen their understanding.

Having worked in education for 14 years and having taught in Poland, Ghana and 4 vastly different co-education comprehensive schools, I have a wealth of experience, and currently work in an outstanding school. My students have always performed above the national average, exceeding their targets. Regularly students go on to study science in further education, and I am frequently asked to support students with their university applications. Still working in education, I am well aware of the strain students are under and am able to equip them with ways to manage their workload and expectations.

Feedback from my sessions has been 100% positive and in all cases grades, confidence and fluency has improved, a record I am very proud of.
