About Springboard Learning

I founded Springboard Learning in 2019 with a mission to build confidence, enjoyment, and engagement in education. With 20 years of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of working in Poland, Ghana, and four diverse co-educational comprehensive schools across the UK. I currently teach at an outstanding school in St Albans, where my students consistently exceed national averages and their own academic targets. Many of them go on to pursue science in higher education, and I frequently support their university applications.

What began with just a few students has grown into a thriving tutoring service. I am honoured to have been recognized as Best Secondary Tutor at the National Tutor Awards. Beyond teaching, I also train teachers, write training materials for initial teacher training programs, and mentor aspiring educators.

At Springboard Learning, I personally assess and train every tutor to ensure they uphold our ethos of providing exceptional, tailored support. Over the years, Springboard Learning has proudly supported the success of more than 200 students across a wide range of subjects. With 100% positive feedback, we’ve achieved remarkable improvements in students’ grades, confidence, and academic fluency—a record I’m immensely proud of.

As both a highly experienced teacher and a parent, I bring enthusiasm, patience, and a deep passion for education to my work. I particularly enjoy inspiring young people to develop their academic skills, curiosity, and love for learning. I take pride in creating engaging content that encourages students to ask questions, think critically, and deepen their understanding of the world.
