Lucy helped my daughter through the final year of GCSEs.
When she started my daughters confidence in all 3 sciences was low. Lucy was patient and enthusiastic in equal measures, her calm engaging teaching manner made my daughter feel at easy, as a result her confidence grew. She made each session fun and something my daughter was very happy to do. We could not be happier with the results.
Lucy has now started tutoring my son who is in year 10. I quite honestly could not recommend her highly enough.
I highly recommend Lucy as a Science tutor. My child became a school refuser but was still happy to work with Lucy for 45 minutes on a weekly basis throughout year 11. Lucy has a kind and patient manner. She is so good with teenagers and boosting their confidence. Lucy worked on different ways for my child to learn and remember the essential information. Lucy was a fantastic extra physics teacher. My daughter had sessions with Lucy every week for Year 11 and she helped her to understand the more complex areas that she needed to go over properly to fully understand the crucial details. Lucy is very easy to discuss topics with, her explanations are very clear and her sessions are interesting with a variety of methods and activities. My daughter moved up and achieved grade 8 in physics, which I was delighted with and am sure she wouldn’t have achieved without Lucy’s help.
